Interesting day getting to know other realities
Visit to the Bottega Azzurra
On Friday, November 25, 2022, we set off to visit the social cooperative La Bottega Azzurra, an organization that is already active in the area with the aim of promoting employment opportunities for people in vulnerable situations in the production and sale of confectionery products.
Upon our arrival, we were overwhelmed by the delightful aroma of Christmas cookies. We were greeted by Mrs. Luciana, a very kind woman who warmly welcomed us. She guided us through a tour of the shop and the artisanal creation area where the packages were made with art and passion.
Later, she introduced us to the production area, where Chef (and mother) Marisa leads the cheerful and friendly staff including Letizia, Elena, Sabrina, Elisa, Luca, in the creation of various sweet and savory products, with the support of volunteers who dedicate their time to the project.
Finally, it was time to taste… mmmmmm… everything was really delicious, both sweet and savory. Their specialty is “Le Sbriciotte”… Unbeatable!
Contextually, Mrs. Luciana gave us very important advice and suggestions for our future projects.
The return journey was full of positive evaluations and enthusiasm, and of products that we could not help but buy, we recommend them to everyone… they are too good.
